Lee N. Brutus, Date Unknown (Source: Heins)

Lee Brutus landed once at Parks Airport, Friday, November 6, 1931 at 12:45PM. He was flying a Waco he identified as NC11473. Based at Troy, OH, he cited his destination as Kansas City, MO. He left no clue as to the purpose of his trip, or if he carried passengers.

Brutus was an Army pilot during WWI. Pilot Brutus was executive vice president of Waco Aircraft, Troy, OH. He held his Waco position for 14 years. I don't know what his activities were during WWII. after WWII he was appointed Pacific Coast sales representative for the Nylok Nut Corporation of New York. Details of the appointment and photographs of his products are at his biographical link, below.

Besides his single landing at Parks Airport, he also landed once at Peterson Field. Lee Brutus landed once and signed the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register. His biography is there at the link. Brutus was born November 16, 1895 and died on December 14,1998 at the age of 103. He joins several pilots as being the oldest survivors among Register signers. Others are John Miller, Bobbi Trout, Busch Voights, and Bill Piper (Davis-Monthan Register, 102, 97, 100 and 95, respectively).
