WILLIAM N. HUDSON

William Hudson landed and signed the Parks Airport Register Wednesday, March 19, 1930. He flew the Curtiss Robin he identified as NC767M. Please direct your browser to the airplane's link to view two excellent photographs of the NC676M posed with pilot Hudson. Based at Cincinnati, OH, he was southwest bound to Tulsa, OK. Both he and his airplane had landed at Tucson a year earlier.

William Hudson was Chief Pilot for Goodyear Aircraft Company. NC767M was the corporate aircraft for Goodyear, and was painted accordingly with the company logo (see the link). After Goodyear, Hudson had a flying career in the U.S. Navy, then with the FAA.

William Hudson was born August 25, 1898. He passed away in 1975. His biography is online at the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register Web site at the link.
